My Story

Julia is up in Heaven making the angels laugh and at eternal peace. We'll all be together one day. If you're reading this...go do something nice for someone. Julia would've wanted to pass on some happiness to others. She always did.

"Today....3 families across America will grieve the loss of their child to a brain or spinal cord tumor."

"The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing." - Albert Einstein

Help make a difference - Want to help knock out Pediatric Brain Tumors....May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month - Let's see how many $1 bills Gunner's Magic Train can get in the month of May for research, cures, treatments, and causes.

I am dreading Sunday....Sundays are hard days without G-man.  Mother's Day is on Sunday....a double whammy without G-man.  All I can do now is try to take this grieving and do something good.  All I can do is try to make people aware just how terrible it is to be without your child.  No mama should feel this pain....so we mamas fight!  We fight due to the pain and the heart ache that we endured during the brain tumor battle and we fight due to the hole in our hearts from that brain tumor.  We fight for the many mamas and children going through it right now and we fight for the mamas and the children that are about to embark on this devastating journey.  We fight to put a stop to Brain Tumors.

May is Brain Tumor Awareness Month.  Even if you don’t want to purchase or wear shirts that have Gunner on them, they have other items you can purchase. I ordered last week a shirt that says I wear gray for my Son.  I wore it to the walk on Saturday.  So there are all kinds of things that you can order.  Get your Gray on for the month of May for the kiddos!  The money raised will go to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Fund.

If you are interested in wearing some Gunner Gear or any of the other Gray awareness see the website below.  Heidi  a wonderful supportive mother that has lost her daughter to a brain tumor works on designing these logos for our kiddos.
