How painful to read about Jo's passing. Many here including her immediate family probably will not know the many that have been touched by Jo; her smile and laughter, her thoughts and care and her open invitation. I me t my friend, Jo at Tori in the 80'd. We became fellow pilgrims with our usual walk along that creek. Just the two of us. Jo invited me to stay her place off of Sheridan rd. Chicago of course and then to that beautiful place that her son, BJ build for her. she would mention you, BJ, to this stranger. I hadn't seen J since 1998 until Vera and Kenny came out here and some of us met a Pike Lake Starte Park where she visited. I took some photos and will send copies to the family.
My condolences to Jo's family, her friends and other loved ones. This earth was wonderfully touched by her walk here and may we all be inspired by her life, her eyes, and the light passing through her and on to our hearts touche forever. Jo , My friend , I will miss you forever. Thank you for blessing my life. Josef Bieniek
