This AMAZING little girl has been fighting AML since January 2005 and is now fighting for her life after a SECOND bone marrow transplant. http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/chloenewman Also Our very dear friend, Jackie, has begun transplant preperation so PLEASE keep Jackie, her Mom, Cyndi and her sisters' in your prayers. I've had kind of a crummy weekend so I haven't seen Josh or Brent since Friday evening. Brent said that other than feeling very fatigued and VERY emotional Josh is doing well! Josh had a surprise visit from Our SoCal cuzins'. Even though Josh doesn't get to see them very often, he loves them so much and really enjoys hangin' out with his cuzin' Kayne! Thank you guys for making the drive up to SanFran! I wish I could have been able to see you too! For today...It looks like Josh should be discharged sometime today! He will have to go in on Wednesday for a bone marrow aspiration as well as IT Ara-C, which is when they inject chemo into his spinal fluid. This is part of the transplant prep and is expected to be done as an outpatient procedure. I'm sure Josh will be feeling yucky come Wednesday evening and the rest of the week but, You never know!
