1/22 update by Joshs wife.

It is only wednesday and we have had such a busy week. Monday Josh had a doctor appt in town found out his white blood count is still sitting around 16,500. His potassium levels are normal again so one less horse pill he has to take in the morning. Yesterday we had Josh's appointment with his U of M doctor and they clamped his gall bladder drain to see how his body reacts. We find out at his follow up this Friday to see if he is able to have one or both drains removed. Today Josh is having a procedure called Transesophageal Echocardiogram also known as TEE. It is an ultrasound of the heart taken from a probe swallowed into the esophagus and placed behind the heart. They are able to take very clear pictures of the heart using this procedure. He is having the procedure done to find out if there is an infection in the heart that might be causing nodals on the outside of his lungs. If he does have an infection in his heart he will need IV antibiotics because it is life threatening if left untreated. We will know the results before we leave the hospital which is very nice. I will let you all know how it went and the results later today. Thank you for your continued support and prayers.
