Hope everyone has had a happy New Year!
I told you last time that there was something that I wanted to share with everyone and I finally got a picture to show you.
On my last day of school before break, Dec. 19th, my co-workers surprised me with something very special. It was a wishing well that they plan on putting in front of the school and once a year in September they will hold a fundraiser with the proceeds going to Make-A-Wish foundation. Needless to say I was overwhelmed with their thoughtfulness and little did they now that the very day they presented it to me was exactly 3 yrs from the day Jon David was diagnosed. There is a plaque on the roof of the wishing well that says in memory of Jon Sellars. I work with some pretty amazing people and am thankful for them. I don't think there will ever be a way for me to thank them for this.
I also want everyone to know that my dad put some videos of Jon on You Tube. The links are available in the guest book. One of them is his Make-A-Wish Trip when he met Jeff Gordon.
"A life should be measured by memories, not years." So remember, Live, Love, Forgive, and Never Give Up! Be kinder than necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle!
May God Bless the children. Prayers for all our Wilms' Warriors and grieving families. Unfortunately it increases every single day.
