John’s Story

Welcome to our CaringBridge site. It has been created to keep friends and family updated about Dad, Uncle, Grandpa, Pappa, John Sanders, Mom, Aunt, Grandma, Nana, Camille Sanders.

Be sure to read the latest in the journal, view the photo gallery, and drop us a line in the guestbook.

Monday March 23, 2009, John and Camille were returning home driving on I-95 south of Savannah. Their car collided with a construction dump truck parked on the shoulder. The emergency crew had to remove the roof from the 335i to extract both of them from the car. They are both currently in the Savannah hospital, John in ICU and Camille in a regular room.

John is in a medical coma due to the amount of swelling and pain. He has fractures in his skull and rib cage.

Camille has had surgery on her right ankle to rebuild it. She is bruised, but doing well. She will be in inpatient rehab for several weeks at this hospital.
