How can it possibly be December?!?! However I think a more appropriate question is..."why am I still awake??" Insomnia has reared its ugly head once again and although I've done two loads of laundry, updated our other website and helped Santa write a dozen letters, I just can't fall asleep. Oh, tomorrow (or today) is going to be very long. So, we had a fabulous time at the Dyson's. However, Joey slept through most of the Iron Bowl. Considering how Auburn played, Joey was very smart to stay asleep. That's about all I'm going to say about that topic. Joey had a rough day on Saturday, seizures were off and on and at one point Joey spiked a fever. Only one dose of Diastat was needed this time and by the end of the day, he was playful and alert. Joey did sleep all day Sunday though. Larry and I have noticed that Joey's breathing sometimes seems very labored, and this goes on while he's not seizing - sometimes when he's not very active at all. We will be at Chldren's Hospital for two doctor appointments this week so that is definitely something I will address. What else....everyone is back to school tomorrow, even Joey. I think I may use the time Joey is in school to take a quick nap - haha, not likely, but it sounds good. Andrea, thank you for the sweet compliment about Joey's story in the B'ham News. I was VERY surprised to see my photo in there. The Alabaster Reporter did a great job on their article about Joey's bike as well... www.alabasterreporter.com . If any of you were wondering, AMBUCS is the name of the company that made Joey's bike. Our weather forcast calls for a chance of snow flurries this morning......so that meant that there was absolutely no sign of bread or milk in some of the grocery stores - and that has always puzzled me. If I was going to be stuck inside my home with my family I think a couple bottles of vino and all the ingredients for lasagna would be at the top of my list!! :) Roseanna
