We have a plan! We will be discharged from the hospital tomorrow morning, and after clinic visit on Monday, we get to go home!
Joey is off of oxygen, got his fem line out, and was off the monitors today. After weeks of lonely cafeteria meals for us, he was able to come down for dinner tonight.
He was treated to his favorite meal for lunch- rice and black beans from Chipotle. Eating's a bit down yet, but he did well for his first day eating by mouth.
Joey's making great progress every day. Our big challenge right now is building his strength back up, but he's anxious to play and continues to improve.
