I was already thinking about and praying for you all when I saw this update come in on Caring Bridge....thank you for sending it.

Our thoughts and prayers are with each of you as we remember Joe's Graduation day.  I know you are right...he is having a great time in heaven.  :)

We miss him, too.

Kathleen,
My heart skipped a beat when Joe's CaringBridge email came.  I am so glad you wrote today.  I miss him.  I've thought about all of you so much this past 1 1/2 years.  Especially, when October started, it made me think of Joe.

You are such a treasure and blessing to those of us who have the privilege to cross your path.  Thank you for the honesty and candor as you walk this journey.
Love you always,

I have to say thank you for each and every entry you deposited into Caringbridge...As we read each one, it served to help us feel connected though we live quite a distance apart...Your candor, vulnerability,  and your thoughts along the journey, your thankfulness, as well as  the full spectrum of emotions have touched all of us...Again, thank you...

We will forever treasure the friendship we had with Joe & you...That smile of Joe Maxwells' lingers in our memory and wont be forgotten...Thank you, Kathleen, for being you...Thanks to your whole family for who they are...You embody the goodness of God and cetainly His grace...

May the Lord continue to wash over each of you with healing and wholeness and expectation of the future. Our prayers wont stop...

Bless you

Deborah & Carlton

So many new experiences, Kathleen!  Some good, some painful...don't forget that Joe is in your heart...just take what you need from each experience.  Smile sweetly to the guy who wanted your phone number...shudder a bit that he was insensitive enough to ask, but be flattered that he was attracted and intrigued enough to ask...every day is a new one!  I'm sure he meant well - and who wouldn't be attracted to such an alive, fun person!?

Still praying for strength and peace for you...and, as always you have more grace than any 10 people I know!  Have a blessed New Year's beginning and may our sweet Lord continue to guide you...be well, sweet friend!

Happy 50th Birthday to my 'old' friend!  Wow---we have been wishing each other 'Happy Birthday' since the 4th grade!!  I looked for some red, white, and blue knee socks to give you, but alas, I could not find any.  I know that you are sad about that.  :)

Have a wonderful day!  I am praying that you will feel His love and mine today....

Love,

Kathleen, what a lesson you teach, as usual!  Your message about not putting God in a box is so important...too often I think we all do that!  Thank you, as always, for sharing and teaching - and for living and loving.  May you continue to be blessed richly by our Lord this Christmas season.

love,

As I was reading your post my playlist was playing HOW GREAT THOU ART... so fitting!

Still Singing, there is still healing to be had, and that means the singing must go on!  Plus, who can help but sing praises to the most wonderful, Amazing, Compassionate, ONE TRUE GOD???

I saw you Sunday, but you were in the middle of some great praise and worship, that I didn't want to interupt your time with the Lord.
I'll catch you next time !!

Love always,
Kim
