To the Duffs -How wonderful that Jody's contributions to Strong Hospital are being honored.  She certainly had an impact on many fronts there.  Hope that the recognition  will ignite  others to be advocates for Pancreatic Research and services for those dealing with the disease.  Hugs to all!Linda and Mark Hopkins

Dear Bruce, Kevin, Brian and Zaneb,  Please accept our condolences in the passing of Jody.  To us she was such a cheerful, caring person always asking about our family, despite whatever discomfort she might have had.  We wish very much that we could be with you today and tomorrow when you gather for Mass and to support each other.  Please know you all have been and will be in our prayers.
Love, Ned, Colleen, Sarah, Emily, Jack and Matthew

Dear family, I am from Waverly, NY. Jody's name has been in the Prayer Concerns section of my church bulletin for a long time, the Waverly United Methodist. I have wondered if she was the same Jody Johnson I remember from high school, class of 1966 I believe. Looking at her picture, I think it is. She was a phenomenal oboe player! I had the impossible task of following in her footsteps, very poorly I might add. The lighthouse puzzle speaks to me because my husband & I hope to visit Maine in late summer/early fall. Please accept my condolences.

The Power of Jody
Sunshine evolving into starlight, that is the way of her smile. Her soft voice and calm manner invites you to visit a while.
Days might spin in confusion, Contention knocking at the door. Yet, her paced, steady composure on others centered, not ignored.
Her aura, a humble dignity, Her power is gentle strength. Faith fortifies her stout courage. Her service boundaries have no length.
No shirking or shrinking in her stride. Resolute, she defends the right.  She's an angel on many errands, eternal horizons in her sight.

Bruce, Brian,Kevin and Zaneb,
I was so sorry to hear the news...though now JoAnn is at peace and with the Lord. She has been surrounded by such love and caring with you, her family, as well as her great friends! What a testament to love you all are. The puzzle you posted, Zaneb, is beautiful. You all worked on it through the long nights and now it is complete, like JoAnn's life. The picture is one of peace,as she is with her Lord.
