Just a quick update as I am off and running. Well in usual fashion my mom managed to dodge another bullet. She did great with surgery, no complications and now we are hearing that it might not have been active cancer but necrotic tumor after all. While this is great news, it's upsetting to her as I believe the cancer part was the deciding factor in moving forward with the surgery. She keeps saying.. "I don't understand, they did this to me and I don't have cancer" . The Dr. is certain it needed to come out either way, but it's hard to look at recovery over the holidays. She's so independant and for a while she can not be left alone so she agitates easily and her short term memory is hit or miss. She's wobbely on her feet which isn't new, only a little more pernounced and only time will tell how things will progress in either direction. Thanks so much for all the kind words and prayers. I'll keep you posted.. one day at a time.. and we have so much to be thankfull this thanksgiving as always.. In strength.. Jodi
