Jim has had a restful day. We have been reading him your messages and many of them cheer us up as we read them. Songs, love letters, poems, remembrances - they are all so special and greatly appreciated.
Thanks for the friends that have stopped by, the cards, the snacks (thanks Geri) and the emails. Jim is sure lucky to have this much support and love coming his way.

Jim is so lucky to have such a wonderful group of friends and such a close family. We are reading all of the letters to Jim and he has had a very peaceful day. I would prefer to have positive updates, but Unfortunately that is not the reality in this situation. At this point we are probably looking at days, rather than weeks or months. We keep hoping and praying for a miracle but it seems like this will not happen. Please keep Jim in your thoughts and prayers and keep the messages coming.

  • Jimmy update # 2

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and stories of Jim. This is a hard update to send. We received the results of the biopsy and the brain tumor is malignant - I am so sorry to have to share this news. Jimmy is not awake from the surgery ( he is not sedated, just not waking up) . We keep hoping that he will wake up on his own. Kelly and I (Amy) are reading him your cards and emails - please keep them coming - I am hoping that he can hear all of the good wishes. As the doctor said this is a "very critical life-threatening situation" and we do not know if this means days or months. If you would like to come visit, now would be a great time. He is at St.Jude Medical Center on the 4th floor. If anyone needs to reach me - my email is aymurray@ Mac.com. Thanks,
    Amy and Denny
