Hi Jim:
We hope that things are going along as well as they can be and hope you are feeling as well as you can. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Your name is in  our conversations with folks all the time, as I will ask, did you read that article on why the plants and flowers are not doing so good this year? You are amazing, you write on just about every that we are interested in: computers, cameras, flowers, and plants. Those are just a few as you have many more. You are a walking Encyclopedia. The Repository ought to put out a book with ALL your articles in it then we will have an Encyclopedia. God Bless and watch over you and yours every single day.

Kathleen-

It has been a long time since you had me judge the Zoar Flower shows, but I read every one of Jim's articles and he should be getting some of those awards they pass out every so often.  His stuff is great. I send copies to friends in New England and other places for they enjoy them , too. I send him an e mail every so often about things and wanted you to tell him  " Hi" from me.  I have a daughter who is fighting bone cancer and she gets medicine, but still works and so far so good.  I enjoy hearing about Lily for I have another daughter who has 5 inside dogs .

I wish he would do a book of his articles.  He is a very unusual writer and so many people buy the Rep for his articles and the puzzles and Charity's articles. I have saved many of the articles and know other people who have, too.

Dear Jim Hillibish...I am living here in Las Vegas, NV and going through some old recipes..some from The Canton Repository, Lawton Constitution, Las Vegas Review Journal.. and I came across your article about Brugmansia from a few years back.  I saved this article because I knew I wanted to plant one of those in my yard in Canton.  I have a 100+ yr old house in Canton South area.  I didn't get around to doing the planting, BUT..enjoyed re-reading your article "Brugmansia: Not just a plant but a lifestyle".  I then googled you today and found that you are presently fighting a courageous battle against the Big CA. Whenever I return to Canton for a month or so, I always subscribe to the Repository and have it delivered. I look forward to your column and have clipped many to share with my family or just enjoy myself.  Thank You for writing the most interesting articles.  I will be planting a Brugmansia in my back yard here in Vegas and my yard in Canton and will enjoy the aromas, join the Brug lifestyle and keep you in my prayers.  God Bless You

Although we've never met, I realized last summer we live in the same neighborhood when Jim was involved with the garden contest judging. Gardening is a passion of mine too, Jim, and I've always thoroughly enjoyed and learned from your writing on the subject. Thank you for inspiring so many people with your talent :)
