Hello everybody.

Just to give everyone a quick update.  Jim made it home Sunday without any problems.  He was able to come home in his van.  We made three stops to do pressure releases and get some lunch; one in Lomira, one in Oshkosh and one in Weyawega.  He was even able to watch the second quarter of the Packers game in HD on the big screen at home before retiring to bed for the second half.

The trick now is to rotate the antibiotic treatment to a little more manageable hours.  Yesterday his treatments fell at 9:00 AM, 5:00 PM and 1:00 AM.  Over the next two days we are trying to move them to 7:00 AM, 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM to accomodate Mary Kay's sleep schedule.  Also, for the next two days, he gets to be in his chair three times at 45 minutes apiece.  We will be increasing the times every third day until he is up to 2 hours three times a day.  On the 27th it's back to Milwaukee to see how the surgery is doing.  Hopefully Jim will be given the all clear to be up in his chair full time at that point.

Once again we would like to thank everyone who sent cards or took the time to visit while he was at Froedtert.  It really helped to break up the monotony of being confined to the hospital room.
