Today is Easter! Today we celebrate our Savior’s victory over death! Today also marks the second anniversary of Jesse’s call home. Joy is victorious, even over the sadness we feel in missing Jesse! Hope is victorious, even when sin and death surround us here on earth. We can know, without any doubt, that this sadness, this sin and death is only temporary! We know this because of the sacrifice made by our Father because of His eternal love for us! Praise Him for His goodness and grace! “Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. - 1 Corinthians 15:55-57
