To friends and family of jerry-
I am sorry for your loss. I worked with jerry on a couple of real estate transactions and he was always hard working and
caring to get it right for the buyer and seller. He was a gentleman, as well as a professional.
My thoughts are with you -

Hello, just wanted to send my condolences, to all of you, Jerry's family.  Jerry and I graduated from Everly together and I actually only knew him for four years.  But our class, the class of 54 was close and I was very happy that he was able to make it to our 50th class reunion.  Again I extend my sympathies to you.   Willy Morfitt

Dear Elaine,
Oh how we would love to celebrate Jerry's life with you, but we are stuck here in Chicago.  Please know you are constantly in our thoughts.  We will definitely be with you in spirit.  Jerry was an amazing person and we all enjoyed his company everytime we got to see him.  Thank you for always reaching out to us so that we could get to know him and spend time with the two of you!

Lots of love from all of us!

Jerry's passing over the bar is a great loss of Elaine and for all of us in the Sanibel Squadron.   Jerry & I were in a Piloting Class together and he was a very capable Captian who made an intelligent contributation to the Class.   It was always a pleasure to meet and talk with Jerry and to have Jerry & Elaine   along on our boating trips.   He will be missed.-----Beth & Tom

Dear Elain,

Bonnie & I send you our condolances I know Jerry will be missed. I enjoyed working with him in the Squadron on the ads. Also just talking about real estate. I know all remember the party you had at the condo. I always think of a song I sing that helps me when these unfortunate events occur. It may be helpful to you. The first verse says: When I want to feel you near me I stand in this quiet place with a silver light of countless stars shining on my face. Though they all shine so brightly it comforts me to know that some that burn the brightest died an eternity ago. But your light still shines. It's one small star to guide me and help me hold back the dark. Your light's still shining in my heart.

Good morning!

Jaimie and I are much saddened by your news, and so glad that you called. You sound absolutely great!

If only I were speaking to you....

Hang in, nifty lady, let us know what we can do to make life easier for you.  We'll keep watching this site.

All our love,

B&J

And, no, the name is not an announcement. Why give up living in sin when it works so well after 13 years?

J's scan interval extended to a year...Yea!

And today is her birthday, the pinnacle of a month of observance. I'll be so glad when it's over....

Send me your email.

Having lost my Marge I have an idea of what you are going thru.
If you ever want to talk just pick up that phone and call
If you want any information please ask
I so remember how Jerry helped me and partially carried me during our times of selling ads for the Soundings. Those were busy times but good times and I will always remember his great smile
Peace to you and your family

Dear Elaine:  I know personally of the grief and loneliness you are feeling.  I think back and remember first meeting you and Jerry at a bike club function soon after we moved to Sanibel and then on to our years of activities in power squadron together. Believe me, the many good memories help sustain you and will  help get you through the bad times.  It takes some time but it will happen.  I just know Dave has given Jerry a tour of Heaven and they are enjoying a better time now than the last days they were on this Earth.  My prayers are for you

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jerry's passing.  We had good times during college days at Iowa State.  I reconnected with Jerry only two years ago via email but didn't get to see him.
We will remember Jerry as one of us in the Class of '58.

It was 1962 when I met Jerry.  Combined was a fun place to work then and, for me, Jerry was one of the reasons.  It’s been a long time since I last saw or spoke to him but after reading some of the messages in the memory book and ticking through my own recollections:  silly smile, goofy sense of humor, commitment to family, kind and compassionate friend, I know that the things that made him special didn’t change much through the years.

I was so happy to learn that he found you and the joy you brought to his life.  Hold onto that joy and let it warm your spirit in the days to come.

The world today is not as good a place as it was when he was here.  I shall help you miss him.
