Jeremy Mohr's Journal
Written 14 hours agoJeremy is glad to be trach free but he is having secretions which he is trying to cough up. His cough is weak so when he works on coughing it tires him out. He is hoping when he sees Dr. Johnson on March 20, he will have a smaller size button. He is still hoping to get a gadget that will help him cough, hopefully in the summer. I am getting excited !!! I have started packing. My plane leaves Cleveland at 6am Friday morning. I can't thank you enough for all your prayers !!!!! Marcia
Jeremy is doing well.
Written Feb 27, 2014 1:14pmWe were up at 4 am so we could be at Metro at 6 am. Jeremy is trach free!!!!! The surgery went well, he feels miserable, his throat is very sore, his inter ears hurts and he figures he bit his tongue because one side is really swollen. The day of surgery is rough on Jeremy plus the operation room was freezing. Tomorrow will be better. Thanks so much for you prayers. Marcia
Hold your Hearts and Thank and PRAISE THE LORD !!!
Written Feb 24, 2014 12:41pmJeremy will have his trach removed on Thursday !!!!! He will have what they call a button were his trach opening is on his neck, that way he can still be suctioned. We will not know the time of his surgery until Wednesday afternoon. The surgery will be at Metro and Dr. Johnson will be doing it. We like Dr. Johnson a lot, he keeps things moving. So I asked Jeremy about the beard and he said he will let me trim it ! The temperatures changing is rough on Jeremy's body but he has been playing his X-Box some. I'm can't wait to go to Iowa!!!! Thanks so much prayer warriors !!!!! Marcia
