Good Morning Jen!!

This is my first time at this, so (as my daughter would say, "You're doing it all wrong, MOM!) please forgive me if it's not in the proper 'format'

I work with your wonderful mom and I rode down in the elevator Tuesday with her at work, and found out where she has been!     : (     I am SO glad you are doing better.. I kidded you mom, telling her I need to get away, so I will come up and stay with you for a week or so!!!   : )  As I hear you have quite the apartment!!

Seriously, what a blessing you are, especially to the parents of the little girl.  They will be forever grateful to you!

Just wanted to let you know you are in our prayers!!

Hang in there!!

Hey Jen, I don't know if we have met at nanny conferences or not but just read about this on Facebook.  I hope by now you are starting the long road back to walking.  There won't be a day that goes by that those parents won't think of you an cry with joy.  It is amazing how a child is saved by one single quick thinking moment.  I know your life forever changed.  I just wanted you to know how many of us are cheering for you, people you have met and strangers.  You will be my hero forever....Donna Robinson, the traveling nanny

Jen, I was in the accident with you -- in fact, you and I were the ones pinned underneath the truck together. Not a day goes by that I do not think of you and the others that were injured. I know your condition is not perfect, but I am thrilled that you are recuperating. Things may still be challenging -- but they'll only get better from here. And you have a lot of people pulling for you. Here's to a very successful recovery. -Stephen (stephen.dewart@gmail.com)

Dear Jen, I saw your story on the news.  I can relate to you in so many ways.  I remember when my two sons were little and caring for them.  So much can happen in any ordinary moment in time.  Now I have grandchildren to marvel in and worry over. It sounds like you have lots of family and friends to walk with you on this journey.  Let them be a part of your recovery.  All of you will learn so much.  Be strong, patient and peaceful.  My thoughts are with you.

Jeni,

I was your fourth-grade teacher at St. E's.  I just saw your story on the local Kansas City news and wanted to let you know how very sorry I am to hear of your ordeal.  I have such fond memories of you and remember you as a very bright, sweet, and spirited girl.  You, undoubtedly, will have a long journey ahead to full recovery, but I know that the Jeni I knew as a little girl fifteen years ago has the strength and determination that will be needed. You were such a special child and, evidently, grew into a special young woman.  Please know that you will be in my thoughts and prayers.

HI Jen,

I know we never really officially met, but I wanted to let you know that you are in our prayers. Rich did really well at RIC and we know you will too! Rich is making great strides towards recovery everyday! Physically he is doing really great! Mentally they said he is ahead of where they thought he would be. Continue to be strong, someday we will look back at it all and think it was so long ago. Me personally I can't wait for this to all be over, I may not see the end in sight, but I know it is there!

What an inspiration you are to all of us.  Not only did you perform a heroic act pushing that precious little girl out of the way but your steadfast determination to heal is heroic as well.  You have a wonderful spirit and I would love to meet you some day.  Continued prayers for you and your family.

Blessings,

Barbara

Jeni, I am one of the many friends your father has through animal rescue. He has been an inspiration in many ways and has told us often what a wonderful young woman you are and how strong you have been through this ordeal. I know you have a long road ahead but we're thinking of you and praying for you and so glad that you are able to have your family there for support!
