Hi, it’s Al.

We hope everyone is enjoying their summer. It’s hard to believe that we have already passed the Summer Solstice. We all need to focus and enjoy all of the “Lazy Hazy Days of Summer” which are still ahead.

There are some new pictures to look at. Everyone in our family appears to be adjusting and finding enjoyment where possible. That’s not saying it is getting any easier. It’s not, we’re just adjusting.

Last Sunday we partied at Trish’s house and not only celebrated Father’s Day, we also wished Happy Birthday to Georgie (2) and Zander (6). We had a fun filled evening as usual. It is always so much fun getting everyone together and watching all the children play together. I’m sure Jenn was smiling down, but her absence was felt by all. It’s hard to believe we’re past the 10 months mark.

The past week has been busy for all of us filling in as “Carter Sitters”.

• Allie and Shawn - spending time with Trish, Rusty and their little ones
• Madison and Kate - bunking at our house
• Georgie has been sleeping at Mamaw’s and Papaw’s
