I've never trusted my liver Jeff.  Sounds like you have one that is equally untrustworthy.  Geritol appears to be in order.  My understanding is, that stuff will make your liver do hand stands.  I have done extensive research on that organ, given my long term use of painkillers and other related dope.  I suggest if the Geritol doesn't get the job done....go straight for the good stuff.  Maker's Mark can be found in your better liquor stores.  To make the most of that treatment, I suggest we gather up a few Cowboys...head to TBP Stadium with a "picnic basket"....find a good seat....eat a few pretzels and take our medication until a game starts.  If the team doesn't show up...we head for Reynold's Stadium and start all over again.  If a baseball game doesn't break loose there, we head for G/I Arena and repeat steps 1 and 2 and hope a pick up game breaks out.  At that point we likely won't care if a game cuts loose or not. I call this treatment...GETTING THE LIVER'S ATTENTION.  That's what I am prescribing as your doctor of education....we gotta learn how to cope with this until you get past this little detour.  All of us...friends, family, and sheep.  Hang tough Jeff.  Let me know when you are ready for that pie.  DG

Jeff & Kim:  I just learned of Jeff's battle from Jay and Kenny today.  I haven't talked to either of them since we left OSU, so good things can happen even in difficult times.  Your son Tyler is a good looking young man - kinda reminds me of my old college roommate!   I'm a little ashamed that I didn't keep in touch with all of you.  My wife, Jan, and I live in Allen, TX and have three sons (Tommy, almost 21, Troy 17 and Ty 14).  Jeff will now be added to my nightly prayers.  He's one tough guy, he's an OSU Cowboy afterall.

Jeff I was glad to hear about the honor you recieved from Webster's FFA. Sorry I was not able to make it to the dinner. Taylor told us about it. You are in my daily prayers and I am having good thoughts when you go to the doctor this week. Hope to see you soon.. Counting the days down to retirement ( 20 days).
