JDanny made the flight to Washington, D.C. pretty well. The pressure in his right ear was uncomfortable. The flight attendant let him keep his left foot in the aisle once everyone boarded. He didn't have to walk at the airport in Montgomery, Atlanta, or Washington and when we got to the hotel his scooter was at the bell stand waiting for him. I wish you could have seen his face light up. Here's the guy who on Thursday thought he would be told his foot could come out of the boot cast only to be told to limit his walking and wear it four more weeks. The scooter is small and easy to operate. I could see JDanny accepting it immediately as his means of getting from meeting to meeting this week. He has already been around checking out the path to and from different meeting rooms. By the time we got to our room, we were both tired from having been up since 5 this morning. You can imagine how important it was from 4 pm until now to rest and get ready for tomorrow. The weather is going to be cold and wet several days and I don't know if JDanny will be able to go between the two hotels if it rains and he can't walk the distances in either one without the scooter. We will see how it goes. Right after JDanny's accident I wasn't sure how well he would do and here we are getting ready for several days of national meetings. God has so richly blessed us over and over again. Too many things have happened where the outcome could have been bad news. Instead, the news gets better and better as his recovery continues. One of JDanny's favorite Blackwood Brothers Gospel songs sums it up, "It Is No Secret What God Can Do". Good night and God bless each of you. HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ALL YOU MOTHERS OUT THERE!!!! Dianne
