My heart is broken to hear of the passing of Mr. Stroble.  I prayed for a complete recovery but the Lord needed him to come home to serve Him.  The Lord said to Mr. Stroble when he entered Heaven, "Well done my good and faith servant."  Mr. Stroble was a wonderful man and he was loved by so many people because of who he was.  He was one of the kindest, caring, and honorable gentleman to all he came in contact with be it through the Beacon or not.  The Lord allowed Mr. Stroble eyes to be blind not as a punishment to him but to help other see what a wonderful man he was in spite of his affliction and through adversity one can over come it and live life to the fullest.  He was able to help others and show others the right path they must go and that no matter what, he loved them just the way they were.  He was not a man to be idol in his work whether at his place at the Beacon or doing work for the Lord or other.  There are many things about Mr. Stroble that people may never know but everyone knew he was a good and honorable man.  I know for as long as I live I will never forget him and especially my first encounter with him as a little girl some years ago.

I know Mr. White depended on Mr. Stroble and I know Mr. Stroble never let him down.  My daddy would talk to Mr. Stroble from time to time when he wasn't busy "calling it" and they would laugh a lot.  Mr. White would always tell my daddy that without Mr. Stroble he wouldn't know what to do as he knew just as much as he did about running the place. And my daddy always thought Mr. White was right. I am sure that he was met by so many, including Mr. White and my daddy, when he went to serve our Heavenly Father and there was a big celebration to welcome him..

It is grand to know Mr Stroble was made new again with no afflictions or pains.  He was able to see the face of Jesus as Jesus swept Mr. Stroble up in His arms and welcomed him to his new Heavenly home. I can picture Mr. Stroble smiling from joy to see the face of Jesus.

I pray to our Heavenly Father for mercy, love and strength for Mr. Stroble's family as they go through this hardest time and continue through their lives here on earth without him.  But also to know that they will see Mr. Stroble again as he will be waiting to meet them when it is time.  I pray the Lord will allow Mr. Stroble to feel his presence around them and they understand he, along with our Lord, is watching over them.  I pray for all this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Amen!!

Mr. Stroble "call it" for me up there in Heaven!! You are so missed by us here left behind!

JC will be missed by so many. He always seemed to recognize my voice each time I visited the Beacon and always took time to smile and ask how I had been. I moved to Columbia many years ago but still stopped in to eat every chance I got and always felt at home when I saw and heard JC calling out the orders. My thoughts and prayers are with the Stroble family. Goodbye old friend.
