Happy Holidays everyone! Jax and the twins are so excited about Christmas that it makes everyone around here excited with them! Jax has been busy since my last update, which was forever ago! He started school again in August. He is going to public pre-k in the morning and then to private pre-k in the afternoons. He loves going to school all day and certainly has the activity level to handle it! This was perfect for us while I was student teaching this fall. He is learning so much. He can spell his first and last name and can almost write it all. He can write Jax and has been for a while, but Shrull is hard for him. He is telling us what words begin with and loves to play simple math games with us.

Jax went for his annual oncology appt in August and got a great report. Grandaddy took him because I was student teaching and did not want to miss. I also knew that it would be a good appt. I wrote out questions for him to ask the DR and he did a great job with it! Jax did not have to have x-rays this time. The DR is going to wait and maybe do them next year. He told us to listen to Jax if he tells us any part of his body hurts, like his arms, legs, or any other bone. He would X-ray then. He did some blood work and that was it!

He has allergy testing Dec. 31st. I am hoping that we have outgrown an allergy or two. Who knows! This time of the year I really start thinking about how lucky we are that right now all Jax has to deal with are food allergies. His life could be so different with all that he has gone through in such a short time. Adam and I are very thankful to have three beautiful, happy, healthy children who truly love life!!!

I am graduating Saturday from Western Kentucky University. I actually survived student teaching and being away from the children. It was a hard transition at first but we made it. I am glad to be back home with them now.
