I am the worse journal updater on here! My laptops bit the dust at the same time last month and I was without a computer for a while. Jax has had an eventful summer so far! We had his tonsils and adenoids out on Monday, June 9th in Bowling Green. He did great the day of surgery, did not cry at all, and ate his popsicle and his jello and got to go home after three hrs in the recovery room. But, for us, nothing is ever routine. He did great until the next morning. He woke up with a fever that stayed around 100.3. He ate two mini popsicles and some watermelon. At lunch his fever went to 101.5 and he started throwing up. By the time I got him to the DR's office, he was very dehydrated and almost lifeless. The DR thought that the fever was from dehydration and that after a bag of fluids, he would come back and eat and be fever free. That was 3:00. At 7:00 pm, after 1.5 bags of fluid the fever was still up and he was still lifeless. They admitted him and kept him until Friday afternoon. He had gotten a mycoplasma infection and after two IV doses of Zithromax, he started eating popsicles and yogurt again and was able to go home. He is doing really great now! He gets tired and cranky easily and he is not supposed to be eating all that he is eating, but as long as he is doing so well, we will keep on with that we are doing.

Jax's Eosinophilic Esophagitis is doing a lot better. The doctor said that his numbers were down a lot. This means that the diet we have him on seems to be working!! Adalee's endoscopy looked great and did not show anything, not even effects from her reflux she had as a baby. This was great news for us.

Jax is already wanting to go back to school. I have put him in another classroom and I am anxious to see how he does with another teacher! I know he will love her! I am still looking for a baby-sitter so that I can do my student teaching. It is hard to find someone that will watch 3 small children and it is going to be hard for me to trust anyone to do it.
