I know, it's been TOO long since I updated. Sorry about that. But not too much is new with Jason. He continues to do well physically.Back to normal, gained back a bunch of the weight he lost, etc. Mentally, still some issues.Short term memory, and his thinking sometimes seems to be a little off.We continue to see his psycho therapist one a month(the whole family), and last month, his therapist even came up to the brewery to see him!He continues with his bio-feedback twice weekly and Woody seems to think the left side of his brain(the part most damaged) is catching back up with the right side.He has set a goal of October 1st to move out and be on his own. We'll see.He qualified for disability and so will use that to move out and pay his bills. He continues to work at the brewery, but still gets confused sometimes and overwhelmed if there are alot of tabs going, or lots of people ordering. His therapist put him on Welbutrin to help him focus, stablize his moods, help with smoking cravings etc. But after about 2 weeks, we took him off of it as he was reacting badly to it. He was having lots of temper outbursts, his mood was bad,and he didn't really like how it was making him feel. Even the customers were commenting on his "grumpiness".He's been off it for about a week and his mood has improved alot.He has gotten out with some friends that we trust, gone golfing, shopping, etc. His latest thing was he wanted to go camping for this hd, but knew he couldn't go anywhere so he bought a tent and pitched it in the back field. He has a little area cleared, with chairs, a firepit etc. He spent one night in it, but slept in the house last night. We had a "tent" warming party last night after work, 8 of us were there, roasting hot dogs, playing guitars, and making somores. It was fun.Today is family BBQ and his sisters have set up a volleyball net, and badmitton net, and we got the old kickball field ready.Well, that's about all that's new. Thanks for all your continuing support and well wishes. We couldn't have made it through this time without it.
