Hello ! How are we all doing ? Jason has had some good strides during his OT and PT this past week. He took two steps up and another two steps back. He sat on the edge of his bed with his feet down on the floor, had some discomfort, but not a lot of pain, during his 1st session he let me try and put both sneakers on, (which I got on with a little struggle ) and he sat on the edge of the bed, then transferred into the chair which sits along side of the bed, he sat there did some upper exercises with some weights and bands, OT was happy with his work, she will be back on Monday, he stayed in the chair for lunch, then he asked me to take the sneakers off,and he got back in bed. Yesterday Jason was in a good mood, was happy and bright, uncle Fran came over and visited a little while with him, we spoke about the up coming wedding and whether or not Jason would be going, Jason said he would love to go but not sure if he will make it, we also took a trip to the mall, Joseph, Joe and Jeffrey are all in need of suits, Jason was up for the chore, he last almost two hrs,but we never made it to dinner, it got him, he needed to lay down, he head started to hurt. I made pasta when we got home, gave him his pain meds and then he felt a little better. Today was also a good day his friend Dave a flying buddy came over and visited, he also made Jason get in the wheelchair and wheel himself down to the local deli and order lunch and then wheel himself back, I told Dave the job is open . They had lunch together and then Dave flew back to Hammonton. Well that's all for now. Try to sign on tonight. love to all Janet & Joe xoxo

Hello everyone! Well I can't believe it 's been 5 days since my last update, boy these days just don't stop, Jason has been feeling a little better in the last couple of days, he continues to have stomach issues, not sure ,if it's just all the meds he is taking, trying to settle one thing creates something else, but we are working through it. My heart issues are still an issue all testing should be in this week. I so believe it's all the stress , but I can't take that chance. I can't care for Jason if Mom's on the fritzs. This past weekend Jason has had a horrible UTI with unbareable pain, meds for pain and for the infection were called in and he is doing better. Yesterday was a big day we had an appointment with Magee, Jason had his acessmemt with their doctor, now to submit to the ins. And see how they will be handling him. Jason is not really keen on starting there ,in fact he is not happy at all. Today was his procedure at Cooper Hospital. dr. Lombardi removed his filter from his chest. Jason was so worked up, but he came through it just fine. B/P fell, iv's had to be given, and of course he vomited. And yes we were there all day, until he felt better, but I'm glad that is over, Doctor told us everything went fine, Jason's fears just get the best of him, thank god he was asleep for a majority of his surgeries and that he doesn't remember anything. Well rest for the rest of the week, no doctor visits, just therapy at home. If you haven't seen Jason stop by, I think he is getting stir crazy, or call him or text. Well got to go he is now calling me, Talk later. love to all Janet & Joe xoxox

Hello everyone ! sorry I having been keeping up on the website, it's been tough, being home trying to be all and do all, I have not been feeling well,so that's been in my way. I guess I stopped also because I felt less and less people have signed on and have been following since Jason has been home. But I have heard that you all still want to know what is going on. We have been busy with doctor appointments and x-rays and u/s, Urology appointment last week was good, testing was done and Jason had good pressure, we really don't know to what degree his nerves were injured so we just have to wait and see if all strainghten out after Jason starts to bare weight. That was about his answer. Then we had u/s of kidney to keep a check on it. All okY at this point. Then x-rays for spine and femur. Neuro and ortho was this week Dr. Woodrow was happy to see Jason, and was so happy to know that he could lift his legs from a sitting position, last time she saw him he could only wiggle his toes, nothing more. We spoke about the back brace Jason to wear on outtings and when he is starting to stand and walk, for his protection. Will start to wean off brace soon. Ortho was next , pin that was in Jason's left foot was removed, that was holding his foot and heel in place to heal. Not a pretty cite to see, but Jason was a trooper.Doctor has instructed Jason that he has now enough bone that has started to grow back in his femur that he has released his right leg and foot 100% to start to bare weight and only 50% on his left,Will see Neuro in 2-3 weeks and ortho around the 22nd of Nov. Now all we have to do is pray that my ins. Co does not fight me on getting Jason back into rehab. That are not happy with readmitting him.,but Magee said that they are working on it, Jason has an appointment with Magee doctors on Monday, hope all goes well. therapy at home is slow, Jason did stand yesterday for about 30 sec to a minute ,boy did that take a lot of strength. Today he tried to do the same as yesterday but he got dizzy. Had to sit and lay back down. Jason has not been feeling well either, having rumbling in his belly and pains.trying everything I can think of, hope this passes soon. Well got to get some sleep. I'll try to stay up to date with the journal, now that there is not to much going on. I don't want anyone to be bored. Jason has started to pick up the I pad and read some of your messages. Okay Good night for now love Janet & Joe xoxox
