Dear Friends-

We just received some great news that we felt had to be shared with everyone!

In the fall of 2006, we were desperately looking for a bone marrow match for Jason. The entire community rallied around us. We had friends, family and strangers came from near and far be tested for Jason. There were even marrow drives in Columbus and Bowling Green in his honor! The outpouring of love was overwhelming!

This past weekend Jay's police dept. was contacted by a Sergeant at the Bowling Green Police Department. They did indeed have a drive in the late 2006 in hope's to help Jason, a fellow police officer they had never met, for which almost 100 people were tested. In the year since this occurred, one of their people MATCHED a 5 year old child!!!! The bone marrow transplant occurred, was successful and the child is now a healthy 6 year old!

Thank you to all for adding your needle to the haystack of hope and helping to save the life of a child!
