Janna continues to have a stable MRI.  Dr. Reddy was very pleased with how well she was doing.  She saw no reason for us to come back in three months so our next visit will be in six months.  We will return on December 29th.  This will be the longest break since we started going to Children's.  Janna walked from the parking deck and back by herself, no wheelchair.  Three months ago I don't know that I would have believed she would ever be able to do that.  She walked all over the hospital and all but one store that we went to afterward.  She is really doing good.

She was sick with a sinus infection the entire time we were gone.  Dr. Head ordered her an antibiotic last Monday to try to prevent it from getting any worse.  She has felt really bad.  We have gotten very little sleep since last Sunday.  I took her back by Southeastern Pediatrics on our way back from Birmingham.  Dr. Williams said that she would have to deal with it until the antibiotic had more time to work.  He said it was all coming from her sinuses.  I thought she may have had broncitis but he said no.  She is limited in what she can take because of it interacting with her seizure medications which can cause seizures.  Pray that she can get some relief.  If has really been non-stop coughing and gagging from the drainage.

God answered prayers for some of our friends from Children's this week also.  Bayleigh and James both had stable MRI's.  www.caringbridge.org/visit/bayleighphillips  and www.caringbridge.org/visit/jameshowell  .     Hannah Grace also had a good visit.  She is being taken out from under stem cell and returning to the regular cancer clinic.  She is truly a walking miracle.  www.caringbridge.org/visit/hannahgraceharrison .  Janna gave a bracelet to a little girl that was being admitted to Children's last Wednesday.  She was in for an initial visit to the cancer clinic.  This is the beginning of the journey for them.  I don't know the families names but God does.
