Dear Gregory Family,

I have appreciated your updates and will miss them! Janet and your family have taught us much about facing life's challenges with faith, hope, perseverence, and the power of a positive attitude!

Of course, I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers. I will be checking in with Brian and please know that I am available if I can help in any way in the days ahead.

Wishing your family all the best,
Brenda

Thank you for allowing us to travel this journey with you, and for keeping us all up to date on the highs and lows and challenges and joys. I have been touched so often by your honesty, your faith, and your hope. Our prayers will continue for Janet and for all of you - for equipment to work, for moments of 'Wow!', for laughter, and for support to continue as challenges come. Bless you...

Swimming-super! We continue to think about you and try to lift you up in prayer. One of our ministers gave a picture of prayer that has stayed with me. When a child breaks a toy he brings it to his Dad to fix. He doesn't try to tell him how to fix it, he just holds it up to him to fix. I think sometimes we are to ask for specific things in prayer and that is shown in scripture. But sometimes we can only hold our troubles up to our Gracious Heavenly Father and ask him to fix it. We will miss your updates. John is looking forwardtoo seeing Janet soon. Love, Sandra

I will miss your updates for Janet.  Your whole family's faith has been such an inspiration to me.  Nancy, I can only hope to be an amazing mom to my kids as you have been to yours.  Even before the accident, you were always a role model for me and your strength through all of this and your reliance on God is such a great example for me.  Janet, we love you and can't wait to see what God has in store for you.  You will do amazing things, I just know it!

LOVE LOVE LOVE that word...HOPE! You know, I am bursting with it for Janet and your entire family. I know Janet will continue to do great things and will continue to inspire so many with her incredible ability to carry on in the face of these challenges. I also have great faith in research, and know there will be amazing advances that will help Janet to live a full, happy, healthy life. Thank you for sharing your story and for letting me be a part of this journey. Lots of love, hugs, and hope!

Dear Gregory Family,

When it rains, it pours...hopefully no more mechanical difficulties for you any time soon!

I appreciate your updates, as I think of your family often and continue to keep all of you in my prayers. If God brings you to it, He will see you through it...I know you probably wish He didn't think your family was so strong to endure so much, but He loves you and is in control. Your family continues to be an inspiration and reminder that the human spirit is incredible!

Sincerely,
Brenda

I was glad to get the update but really sorry you are going through so many trials.  I have a fiberoptic Christmas tree in my living room which I leave up year round and have made into a prayer tree.  I have praying hands and cross ornaments on the tree.  Janet's name as well as her family's was added to the prayer tree months ago and I pray daily that God will bless Janet with a full recovery.  With that beautiful smile she is truly an inspiration.  May God bless each of you.

wow, that was strange, only  part of message went through...
I am sure Janet is busy with therapy, school work and preparing for this year. I am sure the therapy is sometimes very hard to watch but thank goodness for all of the incredible resources and therapies that are now available. Stay stubborn Janet!!!
Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers,
Curt, Michele, Alex and Michael

The rest of my message got cut off....

I was happy to see your update and learn of all the therapies that Janet has available to her.  She is no doubt working hard, doing everything that is asked of her!  Continuing to pray for healing, grace, and peace for Janet and your family.

I'm sure your summer has been a whirlwind with all the adjustments you have been through, plus preparing Ian to head off to college!  I can totally relate to the college part...our youngest graduated this year as well (all 3 in college next year...yikes!).  It is exciting, but very bittersweet!

Brian, I have been meaning to stop by your office to say hello.  Please let me know if I can be of assistance in any way!

Sincerely,

Brenda
