Janeen is still in ICU, but what a difference a week makes. She has been off the ventilator for five days, her lung is inflated, one of the chest tubes is gone, her vitals are strong and she looks good. In typical Janeen fashion, she went cold turkey in having the ventilator removed because she was fighting so hard to breathe on her own, it interferred with the machine. The pulmonary specialist said, "Take her off and let her breathe on her own." They did and she did. Thank you one and all who prayed for her in this situation and thank you one and all who sent a message. Hopefully, you'll never know how much it means to receive and read these messages. It lets us know that, yes, there are people out there in cyberspace. Please continue to pray and write. Love to all of you.
