Happy New Year and Merry Christmas! Sorry for the delay in updating you but no news is good news for James.
Here is a quick rundown of the latest milestones for James and our family.
Chris and Cheryl completed the White Rock Marathon again. It was raining and 40 degrees but we made it. Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers and financial support to Team in Training.
We were in New Mexico for Christmas and the kids all went skiing. James did a great job staying with all of us on the blue runs. He was a little nervous but he would never let his brothers see that.
On January 17th, James took his final pill. (we hope) If you remember he was done with chemotherapy in July but he was still on antibiotics to keep his immune system strong. He is now off all drugs and doing great. His January blood tests also came back strong and no trace of anything unusual. He is now seeing the Oncologist every two months instead of every month.
Hockey, soccer and baseball are all on the schedule for James this month!
James would not be here laughing, playing and aggravating his older brothers without you. Your thoughts and prayers have never stopped. At some point, James will look back and read all of the kind notes and messages and realize how much he is loved. As a parents, you were the rock that we could rely on to keep going through it all.
There is a special place for all of you. Thank you.
We are very blessed to have his leukemia
