Hi! Everyone,
Today has been a great day! I took Jake to the Willmar hospital at 11am for surgery on his bladder to remove a egg size bladder stone. He was scheduled at 1pm but they did not take him down to surgery until 2:30pm. By this time, he was very hungry and thirsty. His procedure only took 40 minutes. He did not have to have surgery. The surgeon used the lazer on Jacob's bladder stone, busted it up into smaller pieces and extracted. The pieces filled up a pill size container! It was amazing how much matter was in his bladder. We got to see Jacob alittle after 5pm. He was already ordering food. He ate and ate and ate. By 10pm, he was tired. I think it could have been from all the food he ate. He only has to stay over night for observation. His dad is going to pick him up tomorrow in the morning and he will just have follow up visits.
Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes. It really makes a difference. We did have a couple things going for the Tews' family yesterday though. It was a Tewsday, the date was the 12th and he went in for surgery at 2:30pm. Anyway. Have a great day! I know we all will.
