Hello Jake & Toni

So glad to feel connected through this site.  The tyranny of the urgent means I haven't got down there in a super long while!  Every day is a gift, and life is a journey, and God is good, all the time!  You are in my thoughts and prayers, and from my perspective, life is moving in a good direction for you both.  Kate told me your church is possibly going to live stream and connect you to their services.  That sounds so cool!

So glad you can sing Jake!  and not just the blues!  Keep looking up!

We hope that your blood pressure has settled and you are feeling better. That video shows the amazing progress with treating spinal cord injuries. We look forward to seeing you starring in one soon.

Meanwhile, you might find this video really entertaining:

We have a friend that sends us some emails with amazing attachments that we'd love to forward to you. I can't really do that through guestbook. Do you have an email address? You can either email it to us or text it to Gary if you do.

All the best,

BP over 200 is indeed very scary. I've had experience in that. Fortunately I was in emerge. when it shot up to 215 back in 2008. An ambulance had taken me to ICU after having a mild heart attack. Thankfully with meds. I've not had the problem again.

The video clip you attached certainly gives you hope. Determent physio will help you (Jake) to succeed.

Strength for both of you.

God bless,

Dear Jake and Toni. I had to stop my Skype use.My friends who are in Florida for the winter told me that he had send a request to have me has his contact on his Skype . I never received it.Then he called me on the regular phone a couple of days later and told me to put in HJBF. as my contact to him. Well Those were the wrong letters. They had made sense to me.at that time H for Helen J for James and BF for bob french. a couple of days after I got an email from Microsoft and it asked me if I had send or received emails from Indonesia. To cut a long story short.I realized then that the letters I used to get this wrong contact must have something to do with it. I changed all my passwords.I was unable to get into my email linked to Facebook apparently too many try's obviously he tried to get into my emails again..So I stopped trying to use Skype and having too much trouble with it..It has been a zoo.I'm glad this person was not too savvy either or I would have lost a lot more.I am glad that I have different passwords for different things or I would have lost a lot more than THAT.. I will go back to the guestbook instead. Thanks for trying with me .It was great t see you and Tony again. Keep going forward.Bless you all. Wonderful you have this outlet ' your computer. .

Good to hear from you Jake. Sounds like your love for folk music  is still there. I have an old tape of ' Trio '. Had to play it again.

There are various Youtube videos called the 'Transatlantic Sessions' that highlight Emmylou Harris, the McGarrigles with Rufus Wainright among others. You just might enjoy them.  Heart like a Wheel   Mendocino and more.

It sounds like you're as upbeat as ever. No time for retirement doing your research. :) It's good to hear Toni's stress level has abated somewhat and she is able to live ( somewhat ) the new now. The ( almost ) two years has taken a huge toll I'm sure. Let's hope and pray you may soon go home and start a new chapter in your lives.

God bless,

Toni I know how difficult it has been but both of you get your strength from each other.
Take care.

Hello Jake

It's Tia  Vancouver the Purolator Group.  Reading your message today really pulled on some heart strings.  I remember so vividly when I told Arno to run to the ocean and help you.  My heart sank... and the many hours to follow.  Then I read this today and I can feel your happiness.  What a blessing.  This world is so lucky to have someone so inspirational in it.  I look so forward to the message of the day you get to go home :) Thinking of you often.
