Happy Memorial Day everyone!

Well I know it has been a while since I updated so here's the scoop on the Jake....

Jacob has had a couple of respiratory illnesses since the last post.  Nothing too serious, but we always keep a close watch on him when he does have any type of URI.  Thank goodness for albuterol inhalers, vaporizors, tylenol AND lots of prayers answered!

Jacob did end up having a UTI this last month also - nothing too bad, but he hasn't had a UTI in nearly 2 years so it was quite a shocker.  He only needed a few days of his old meds Bactrim and Macro and his UA came back clear so hopefully that can be avoided again in the future!

But I guess the biggest news in Jacob's life right now is that he is on official graduate of Bethany Preschool.  He will now be attending Ben Franklin Elementary School in the fall along with Brendan.  My boys are growing so fast!  *sniffle  sniffle*

I am so appreciative of all the love and support that the staff at Bethany have given him over the last 2 years.  Everyone has been so wonderful and helped him excel in all the areas he needed a little extra help in.  He is a happy, healthy 5 year old now that will be attending Kindergarten ON TIME in the fall. 

I really feel that without all the wonderful intervention from his IEP teachers and everyone involved over the years with Jacob - this wouldn't be possible.  I am truly indebted to everyone for their diligence and determination to help our little man succeed.  Dan and I feel super blessed to have two wonderful boys that have nothing but future ahead of them.  THANK YOU TO ALL!

Ok - enough blabbering on...  we will be heading up to Park Rapids in 12 days on the 6th of June for 7 days of fun at the cabin and Potato Lake.  We are super excited for our annual pilgrimage up north with the Hanson clan and will update again with pics and our fun time when we get back.
