Wow, I can't believe it has been almost 4 months since my last entry. I am sorry for that but I have been pretty busy.
I finished my studies at MTI. I enjoyed the entire experience. I did really well with good grades. I did an externship program too. After the externship I had to take my Certification Test. It was a 5 hour test. I PASSED!
Then the place that I did the externship offered my a full time position. I accepted it. I like what I am doing, "Medical Coding", and I still have a lot to learn. The worst thing is the MORNINGS!! I have to get up at 5am!! I am not used to that yet.
I have not worked out a whole lot lately with school and everything. I need to get back into a routine of some sort. I have not regained any more feeling or sensation. I don't think I will get any more, it will be 3 years in October since I had the procedure. I can still walk with the braces and the walker. I have mastered that pretty much. The walk is kind of awkward since I have to use my hips to make my legs move.
I have been having a lot of pain in my lower back/right hip. I went to the doctor, ER and had x-rays done. There isn't anything broken/displaced. It is tightness in the muscles and joints. I started going to a Chiropractor a couple of weeks ago. It's still early but I think it is helping some.
I want to thank everyone for all the support over the years. I have been blessed by all the well-wishers, prayers and support. I am so humbled by all your compassion.
I also thank God each day for his constant guidance. He has walked this road with me every day. It has been a long and tedious road at times and He has never left my side!!
God bless all of you!
Love,
Jacki
Philippians 4:6-7
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
