Three Years already!

Well December 1, 2012 was 3 years to the day that Jack was diagnosed with the dreadful life changing word....Cancer.  It was an emotional day for me as I was getting kids ready for the Christmas light parade and realize where I had been three years prior...Wow. Jack is due for his 6 month check up on the 17th but because we have a church play on the 16th we will be moving his appointment.  Another reason is that Taylor's 4th Birthday will be on the 17th and we don't want it associated with anything bad.  So we are hoping for the two weeks he is out of school for Christmas.  I don't mind being down there during Christmas because Josh is deployed anyhow and we have learned how to adapt our holidays!  Jack is doing amazing....aside from his stubbornness at school and not wanting to do his work.  Go figure that's Jack.  Sorry we have not posted in awhile we have just been really busy with life and sometimes its hard to find the time to sit down and write.

So many emotions approach this appointment because we are about a 11/2 out from the second relapse so it is a nerve racking appointment.  Plus with Josh being gone it makes decisions tough. We try our hardest not to let this affect our family but sometimes it does and we just work around it.

We would like to ask for your prayers and we prepare for this appointment.  We know that No weapon formed against us shall prosper and We trust and rely on the Lord for His wisdom and grace.  God has been so faithful to us during our journey with Jack.  Jack truly is my hero!!!  Pray for safe travels as me and the kids head to California before or after his appointment to pick up his brother and sister...also to visit some precious family to us!  We thank you all for your many prayers and they are felt!  We thank our family for all the support that we couldn't have done this without them...God Bless you all and Have a Merry Christmas....I will update as to when his appointment is for sure so that we can have some extra prayers!!
