As you might remember, Jack is an honored teammate for the Honolulu Century Ride in Hawaii for Team in Training. TNT raises money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society by doing 100 mile bike rides, marathons and triathlons. The team leaves this morning for Hawaii! The ride is on Sunday the 28th. We surely will be thinking of them on Sunday. Jack sent the team an email yesterday wishing them luck, thanking them for raising money for such a great cause, and to let them know what to do if a volcano erupts! Jack has gone on several bike rides with them and they are an incredibly wonderful group of people and have welcomed him as their honored teammate with open arms. Some members of the team came to cheer Jack on at his triathlon this summer - I could always tell where they were by the loud cheering! Most teammates have their own personal honorees as well, so many people are affected by cancer. I loaded some photos of Jack with the team.
