Our twins, Jack and Katie Lucas both attend USC. They are sophomores this year. We have followed your story from the beginning. And I know there is a reason that your Jack will be joining our Jack and Katie at this most amazing school.
Our kids will be waiting for him with open arms. As will we.

CONGRATULATIONS JACK & FAMILY!!! So exciting all around. Hard work & dedication really pays off! Jack, even though we have never met, I am honored to keep up to date with an amazing young mans journey from skater to the big shots, & trials & tribulations at every level. Your courage, strength & faith have shaped the man you have become. Through misfortune you have gained far more than most people could ever imagine. The oppertunities and doors that have opened up for you are beyond anyones dreams. Yes, there have been and will be adjustments and a few pot holes to climb out of as you embark on this next exciting adventureand you do it with courage & such a positive attitude. You Jack, YOU!! are an amazing young man and God has amazing plans for you... so grab the oppertunities he lyes before you and reach high!! The goals & dreams are just the begining. It's up to you to be all you can be! I cannnot wait to  follow your mommas entries, ( thank you Leslie & family) as she from a mothers eyes could not be more proud! WOWZER!!! very happy for you Jack! make fun memories & laugh often!  I would someday love to meet you, maybe our paths will cross someday.  Shine  bright Jack!  =0) Love and Gods blessings from a mom in Maplewood,

Great news about everything...retired jerseys, vacation, and college acceptance.  Hard to believe that you'll be off to college next spring.  Seems like it was just a few years ago that you were in 6th grade, Jack.  You and your family are an inspiration to so many people.  I hope your Caring Bridge site will continue to keep us updated on your progress and your adventures as you finish your senior year at BSM and continue on to USC.
Way to go!!

Congrats. on finishing your senior year and your acceptance to USC. What an honor. I know about the importance of the Hobey Baker award, my grandson Ben(also a hockey player from Monticello) received the award in 2012. It sure does  say a lot about you as a person and you and your family can be super proud .
. You have struggled but have succeeded. Best wishes for your upcoming future.   You have proven you are not a person who quits and also are full of character.    Val( a hockey grandma)
