Dear Jack, Max, Mike and Leslie

Wow.  Just Wow.  After reading this, I was so unbelievably excited for Jack, being accepted to USC is no small task, and what tremendous honors being bestowed upon him as he rounds the final curve in the journey called "high school."  I hope you all know you remain in my heart and my prayers every single day, and I am so very grateful to have you in my life.  You have inspired us all, and many, many more, with your courage and "candoitiveness."  #thatsanewword.  :) Looking forward to future updates on the remaining days in Jack's senior year.  These truly are the times of your life, and I can't wait to see those PROM PICTURES!!!!!

I am one of those that has never met you or Jack, but has followed this page faithfully, as part of the family that is hockey.  I can not thank you enough for these posts. This one was filled with joy, and my face is covered in happy tears.
Getting ready to graduate and head to the world of college!!!! Dreams coming true to such a deserving person.  Jack has taught me as a hockey mom so much, and my son and his teammates even more. Thank you Jack, and thank you Mom for letting mere strangers share your journey and joy!!!!

What a great post to read! Such great things are happening for all of you, and they are all so special and well deserved. Next year will be a huge step for all of you, but Jack being in a wheelchair doesn't mean he doesn't have wings to spread and fly! It just gives him more gusto and determination to be a successful student and continue on with his incredible journey of success. Hang in there! You are such great parents, but even us parents get to have a few cries every once in awhile :)

Congratulations to Jack and his family on his acceptance to USC.  That is a tremendous honor.  He will love Southern California, it's where I live and he will grow to love this weather.  My great nephew, Tyler, is about to complete his first year at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and he has loved his college experience so far.  Tyler is the one with a very similar injury to Jacks.  While it's amazing to me that these young people have so much courage and just plains "guts" it is truly inspiring.  I know Jack will do wonderfully and will enjoy his experience as well....so proud of him. I wish you all the very best as you prepare for the next chapter.  Jack will be just fine, he's a fighter and a winner.

As I've been reading the updates on Jack, a young boy I don't even know, I am so very happy for his continuing effort with his upcoming career.  And college?  How awesome for you.  I sincerely feel you will have a very bright future.  I had 5 children (a daughter passed away at 41) 3 boys, 2 girls and all were in sports.  I've seen many sports accidents, but none so sensitive as yours and will keep you in my prayers.  You are a young man to look up to.
