Wishing you a great week at college! So happy to hear that things have been going well and smoothly. Keep doing your best and working hard; it'll pay off. Moving on to college is something to be really proud of as it is a huge step. Prayers every night from Montréal. Stay strong, Jack!

Way to go Jack , I am so proud of you. I encourage you to take your wings and fly to heights you never thought possible. You have shown the world that a real person with special needs is capable of anything. Remember with God anything is possible. I still remember the day you had your accident at BSM. Your mom is feeling the same way my parents did when my brother went off to college. Tell your mom that is always welcome to visit the school when she has free time. Don't let anything or anybody stand in your way just because you have special needs.

Thank you for sharing your incredible, difficult, journey with everyone.  Your family has been an inspiration to me and to many more I'm sure.  I can almost feel the anxiety you must have knowing you will be leaving Jack in a new place and heading home, even though he is well equipped and confident.  As for the person sitting next to you on the plane, just say the words "left son at college" and if they are a parent who's gone through it, they will more than understand.  When I left my daughter at college (only 5 hours away), I cried for two hours!  It does get better.  Through your journal entries, I feel I have come to know Jack and your family a bit and I am so impressed with Jack's outlook and attitude.  I don't know many 16 year old young men that would have handled this the way Jack has appeared to handle it.  Quite the family you have.  Good luck to you, Jack, and to your family as you enter this new phase of life!

Blessings to all of you as you move into the next chapter. I pray daily for all of you and the day when Jack leaves that chair behind. Meanwhile, live each day to the fullest. Be present in the moment. Great things are in store for all of you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your family's remarkable journey. P. S. Great news about those hips!!

Jack and family:  Tonight when I said my usual prayer for : "Healing, health and Happiness" for my three Jack's I realized it has been nearly three years that I have said prayers for you and followed your story! I am sure there are a lot of moments we don't realize you have had!  But you have handled the situations with grace and courage!  You and Your Family are ALL AMAZING!  You continue to look at "Your cup as half FULL!!!!"  Stay tough and focused as you are affecting the world in a VERY positive way!  You make a difference to many people without even realizing it!  Wish I could hear your Hockey radio show here in western Nebraska!  Know you are about to embark on another new chapter in your life!!!  Wishing you all the very best in 2015!!!   Life is not always easy but it IS WORTH it!!!  Love and Prayers, Connie Brost
