My Story

My name is Izabel Vega. I am 20 Months old and I have Ewing Sarcoma also known as PNET (cancer). I had a Tumor in my abdoman that was the size of a volleyball and with my Chemo treatments it shrunk down to the size of a softball. I have been treated and the doctors finally removed most of the tumor from my body. Please Keep Me In Your Prayers.

Hello Everyone,

This has been a busy summer. Izabel is finally getting to be a little kid and enjoy some things. We have taking her fishing a couple of times this year and she really enjoys that.

Fathers Day we took her to the Twins game. She had a lot of fun at all the things that were happening out front. She really did not watch much of the game. All in all everyone had a get time at the game. They lost.

This last weekend we went to a family reunion. We had a picnic in the park. So she had a playground area that kept her busy.

On Sunday we spent the day at great-grandma's with family in town and had a fish fry. It was nice because we had just caught the fish the night before. We had enough to feed the fourteen people that were  there and send some home.

So I can say Izabel right now is feeling pretty good. We are keeping our fingers crossed because anyone that has had anything to do with cancer knows that thinks can change at anytime.
We really appreciate all of the prayers. We will be going back for another check up in July. So right now I have started with uneasy feeling. This happens every time we go for check ups. I know that everyone with a child that goes for three month scans have the same thing happen to them. It's called the un-knowing. Please pray for all the little kids and everyone that is sick.

I just got some new pictures of Izabel and figured I would post them. She is getting so  big and just a joy to be with. She is a take control type of person. Hope everyone is enjoying their summer.
