URGENT PRAYERS…. Years ago we met a wonderful family an amazing family whom now needs our prayers. The Thaemert family has had many trials and challenges in their life and once again they face another challenge. Dan Thaemert was involved in a motor vehicle accident on June 26th and is struggling. This families story is really too long to tell, but just know they are wonderful, a blessing, good people and now they need our prayers to get Dan through this latest event. Yesterday we were outside on the patio. Than it started to rain so I ran to my car to get my umbrella as we were working on a project. Suddenly I see a baby bird, we think it’s a pheasant. It looks like that kind of game. So of course, it’s family is who knows where and with wandering barn cats and the dog he has no chance at life, so I scoop him up in my hand and we make him a little nest safe from the other critters on our zoo farm! Dominic decided to call him “Lucky”. Lucky for him we found him! This morning I checked on him he was fine, than after milking I checked again, barely alive, twitching, can’t stand up, almost dead. OH, WHY, I try so hard and why. I just thought to myself, he’s going to die, but I pick him up anyway, say a prayer move him to a different spot, get a heat lamp, all for this one bird. I just can’t give up HOPE, it’s just not me, my Dad helped me rearrange things because we just have to try! Dominic woke up and went outside to check on him, I prepared him, he comes back in and says, “He’s walking around in his little cage and chirping”, well AMEN & ALLEHLUHA! That “Lucky” thing better live, it breaks my heart to watch my kids be sad over their critters. I know its life, it’s nature, but if we let it go, it is sure to be a goner with the dog and cats here, so hopefully this little bird really will end up “Lucky”!
