Your post has me in tears....I'll have to visit your blog for updates.  I am praying for you as you await the child that God places in your life.  I don't personally know your family, but grew to know Ian through what you shared - and grew to knew your family from your posts.  Lord willing, any addition to your family will be blessed....and I know will be cherished, loved and be a blessing to you.  Praying and hoping for good things to come!

I cannot believe it has been 4 1/2  years since Ian went to Heaven.  I have thought of you and wondered how you were and your note was much as I expected for parents of such a sweet little boy who was called Home so soon, but I was so happy to read that Ian will have a new brother or sister.  You have so much love to give and faith to share.  I am glad you are willing to  brave the unknown and risk complete love again.  May God bless you again and again.  Praying for you-your prayer partner, Jo

Tom and Deb,

I am finally spending some time checking on our "LONG LIST" of
e-mails.  Good to read yours regarding Ian and Christmas.  No
doubt, such times are very sad for you both.  But, as written,
it's so good to know the reason Christ came to earth and that
someday we can ALL go to heaven to be with him.  In the
meantime you know what Ian is...sad, we know, but comforting.
May The Lord bless you both in 2012.

Much love and many prayers,
Uncle Bill & Aunt Peggy

Deb - your words are always so beautiful and revealing.  Thank you for sharing with us.  Your words of faith through the most difficult thing a mother could bare remain with me in so many ways.  You continue to point to God and show such COURAGE and KINDNESS.  No wonder your little one had those beautiful values.  You both were such an example to him.  I continue to pray for you and for God to wrap you in his comfort and strength.. I remember Ian's sweet face from the years I taught him Sunday School.  Always so polite and such a good listener.  I think of him playing and smiling in Heaven at all he is experiencing.
Sending my love through our faith to both of you!
