Julie and Ian,

I am so happy for Ian's progress.  I will miss your witty writing of a difficult subject, Julie.  Hope you will print them all out and if you don't want to write a book you can do a pamphlet they could hand out to other accident victim families.  I'm still going to get over with cookies for Ian.  Any favorite kind?

Congratulations Ian! And Julie,  I'll miss your journal entries. Carol and i were talking the other day and she asked if I had an update on "Julie's son" and I gave her the full-on low down on every detail as if I'm living with the lot of you.

Let's hope that loss of cynasism  is only a momentary laps, you'd never be the same without it! (Or is that a cynacle statement?)

I'll see you soon.

Julie,

Thank you for telling your supervisor about your speeding ticket. You do know you are suppose to report those things don't you! Glad the hear things are starting to get somewhat back to normal for you and the family. One less appointment to worry about.....

I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book yesterday. I am going to go on-line, at home that is, and order a copy. I think it is something every mother of boys should have.

Enjoy your weekend-

Hi Julie and Ian,

What a miracle man you are, Ian.  I hope to get to meet you when we are in Mpls. next.  Julie, you may remember that Eric lives in Edina with his wife, Sheryl, and daughters Stephanie and Megan.  We will be visiting in May when Steph graduates from the U of M.   Anyway, we have been with you in spirit, at least, through this life changing episode and we are so happy that all seems to be turning out so well - probably better than anyone could have imagined.  The doctors, nurses and other care givers must have been the best.    Take care all of you and Ian, you have been given back your life, so make the most of that fact.  End of sermon.  Hello to Lori and Marci.

Hey Julie,

Thought I would help out with your "Deadliest Catch" question. It was Captain Phil Harris of the Cornelia Marie. He had suffered a stroke while in port off-loading at St. Paul island, he died a month later. He is the one with the two sons, (Josh & Jake). Their new season starts Tues, April 13th @ 8 PM.  Yes, I also watch. I know, why do you remember this stuff?

Once again, thanks for the update. Ian, continue to keep up the great work. I know therapy can be difficult but the outcome is amazing, just as you are! Hope you are all able to get out and enjoy some of this crazy weather. Take Care!!!

Dear Ian and Julie,

Ian, congratulations on your rapid recovery process; it's truly amazing!  I am not sure whether it comes from your great "gene" pool or the fact that your mother constantly repeats herself but whatever it is, stay the course.

Hang in there....
