i wish i could adequately express how common cancer and blood cancers are becoming. my corner of the world is so very small and i can't even count the number of people i've learned of in just the past year diagnosed with cancer-and this small group is not limited to my lymphoma group. children, adults, all races and walks of life. cancer does not discriminate.

in just the past few months a former coworker of mine and a classmate of kelley's were both diagnosed with non-hodgkin's lymphoma. it blows my mind, knowing how rare the numbers show the disease to be and how small a town i live in.

i pray often that a cure for all cancers will be found soon. but in the meantime...so many are battling for their lives. wouldn't it be awesome to be someone's match and the reason for their survival?!
