My Story

On May 10th, I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I have completed a series of chemotherapy treatments and my doctor has confirmed that I am CANCER-FREE! Praise God!

Hello!

I know it has been a while since I have provided an update here. I hope that all of you are doing well out there. My health has been great and my next appointment in November will be the 2-year mark from my diagnosis (and hopefully I will be graduated to only having checkups every 6 months).

I am excited to be able to participate in the "Walk to Break the Silence on Ovarian Cancer" next week in Grapevine! My mom and I are headed to the DFW area to participate in this event on Saturday, September 27th. I am really looking forward to this event that does so much to raise awareness (as well as money) to fight ovarian cancer! If there are any of you in the area who would like to join us, let me know.
