Even though Hayley had lost the ability to use her right hand and to walk. And she couldn't do the things that she used to be able to do she never complained. She knew she was going to get better. She had a gently spirit about her.

When Hayley was about two years old. Randy had her in her bedroom sitting on the bed. He was putting her shoes on her so they could go somewhere. And Hayley looked over at an empty chair and said "it will be alright!" Randy looked at her but then kept putting her shoes on her. She again looked over at an empty chair and said "I said it will be alright!" Randy said " Hayley who are you talking to?" She said " That Papa in that chair right there." (both Hayley's PaPa's died before she was born one died in 1991 and the other died less than two months before she was born). We don't know which PaPa she was talking to but she was talking to one of them. We wonder now if he was trying to warn her that she was going to get sick and die. Randy's Dad lived with us for 7 years so we assumed it was him.

One day Hayley and I were going somewhere I think she was 3 years old. She got mad at me about something. And she said she was going to live with her Granny! I told her she couldn't go live with her Granny her Granny was in Heaven with Jesus. She told me again she was going to go live with her Granny. (Hayley's Granny Johnson died when she was 18 months old and the other died in 1990) I believe now that I was being prepared for Hayley's death.

When we were coming home from Houston the last time. We got a flat tire. We were on Interstate 10 somewhere in New Orleans. I didn't think I could change it so I called 911 and told the operator where we were and the situation and he told me they would send out a patrolman. Well I start unloading the trunk to get the spare tire out. And Deborah was with me. She was all in a tizzy about what are we going to do. I said Deborah just pray. Well she said "GOD WE NEED HELP NOW!" I started laughing but within a few minutes a nice trucker stopped to help us. He was from Houston. He had the tire about done when the patrolman pulled up. So I asked him where the nearest tire repair store was. He told me how to get to Superior Tire on the way to find it I found Firestone. Randy had new tires put on the car before we went to Houston at the Firestone. So they put a new tire on cause is was still under warranty. Hayley started throwing up while we were there. And two nice ladies helped me clean it and her up. Every where we were God sent us Earth Angels!
