Hi Everyone! We had a fantastic weekend as we went to Michigan for Hayden's WAGR Weekend. It's a weekend where families of kids with WAGR Syndrome get together to share our experiences, stories, we laugh and we cry and it is just a time to be together with people who just "get" you. We look forward to this weekend every year, so we took the 8 hours trek with the kids and my parents and we had a blast. While we were there we checked out the Henry Ford Museum which was pretty interesting. There are some pics on the photo page. A few months ago I emailed friends and family to collect their change and then cash it in as a donation to the International WAGR Syndrome Association. I was going to put it on here for everyone reading this to do, but I didn't want to spoil the surprise of giving it to the IWSA in honor of Hayden. Our goal was to collect at least $500 to take with us to WAGR Weekend, well to my surprise we collected $1,860 to donate. How cool is that?!! We were so excited to give it as they were surprised to recieve it. If you would like to send a donation in honor of Hayden you can click here http://www.wagr.org/donatenow.html If you send a check write Hayden's name in the memo. In other news, we met Hayden's teacher for next year Teacher Missy. Hayden, of course was being funny when she was here. He seemed to take to her well and we are excited for him to start another great year of school. Hayden turns the BIG 5 YEARS OLD next Wednesday the 23rd. Wow, I can't believe it! I am in the process of doing a special movie of pictures through the years so be on the lookout for that next week. All is well. Have a great week and weekend. It will be very steamy hot here the next few days. Thanks for checking in and don't forget to sign the guestbook. Julie
