Give a Tribute Donation

Help ensure no one has to face life’s most difficult journeys alone by honoring Hailey with a donation to help CaringBridge reach our $1 million goal!

My Story

We've had some confusion about tribute donations on this website.  Tribute donations go to the website and not to Hailey.  Hailey does have a benevolence fund setup at: Hailey Schollaert Benevolent Fund, c/o Cornerstone Church of Knoxville, 1250 Heritage Lake Blvd., Knoxville, TN 37922.

Hailey was born with a genetic skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa. Her skin is missing components that help anchor her skin. This results in frequent blistering or open sores from any friction or abrasion. To learn more about Hailey click here...

Hailey was born November 16, 2008 with a genetic skin disorder called Epidermolysis Bullosa. Her skin is missing components that help anchor her skin. This results in frequent blistering or open sores from any friction or abrasion. It affects all of her skin including inside her mouth, eyes and part of her esophagus.  She was born missing all the skin from both of her feet and has required bandage changes and baths every day since she was born. She received a Stem Cell Replacement on September 15, 2011 in hopes to improve her condition and quality of life. Our hope is in the Lord and Hailey's life is in the Lord's hands. We look back on His faithfulness and have faith that He will continue to sustain us!
