The biopsy that was done in Great Falls came out ok, but the lab work still shows that the enzyme levels are still high. These levels can be brought down with the proper balance of medications and Gwen's immune system.

Gwen has her lab work done once a week and the Washington doctors will regulate the meds to those results.

I will post more on Gwen's results each week.

Gwen's biopsy yesterday went pretty well. After the Great Falls lab studies it, they well make slides and send them out to the University of Washington. The doctors out there will examine the slide to determine how they want to handle the rejection.

I talked with our nurse coordinator yesterday and she said that it will be a little over a week until they get back to us letting us know how they will proceed with the rejection treatment.

As soon as we hear what the decide I will post it.

For those of you that still visit this site, I will update you on Gwen's progress. Gwen has been in rejection sinse June, Gwen needs to go and have yet another biopsy done this Tuesday 10/4/11, this will be the forth biopsy sinse June. They have tried to stop it with a steroid treatment each time with no success. The lab results show a couple of the emzynes are high and with this next biopsy they will most likely try something new.

I will update this journal when we learn more.
