Thanks for the update Kalli! I saw the IJ article and ran into your mom at the gym so I had a bit of current information. I hope the arm/shoulder heals nicely. Really exciting stuff about the helmet and technology behind it. What a cool contribution Gunnar is making to other fellow athlete---necessity is the mother of invention.
    Best regards and health!

Thank you so much for this update. What celebrations we imagine your family to be having this week! Well deserved!

God clearly has a plan for your brother & your family. You have been a magnificent messenger of His miracle. And your mom's peace & smile radiates the Kent Middle School office. (I can relate!) Your family is walking evidence of the power of prayer.

May God continue to bless all of you as you continue to represent His grace. Thank you.

Go Gunnar! I am very happy for you and impressed with the progress you've made.  Coincidentally, I was wearing my Got Wood? shirt on Tuesday!!

It is great to hear that you are playing ball again.  I am thankful for the changes that are finally coming to baseball.  My 12 year old wore a pitchers helmet all last season after your accident.  That will continue for the team.  They are starting to restrict composite bats in our Ohio league.  It is a start and I hope that it continues.  Good luck with the remainder of school and graduation.  Keep us posted on here so we know how you are doing.  You continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

    Hi Kalli
Once again, thank you so much for keeping us all updated through everything you have been through.  My daughter is a sophomore at Redwood and doesn't know Gunnar but we have been following your updates with such amazement at all that has transpired.  She and I have both been touched and inspired by all that your entire family has gone through.  We wish you, Gunnar and the rest of your family much love and thanks for letting us in and letting us care.

Heard him on the radio yesterday.  Wonderful that he is  okay and able to endorse this new bat.  Sure do need it.

Soooo thrilled to hear you'll be back playing ball this season....btw...you look great too!

Looking forward to seeing you as my grandson plays ball for Novato...so I'll be sitting in their section....but cheering for you too since you'll be the DH.  (He was the DH last year...but not sure what's in store for this season).

Hi Gunner, I'm a grandmother and saw you on the news for the first time today. My husband and I are active with our grand sons in baseball, so wen I saw you on the news this am. I thought I would google you. Sounds like you have been thru a horrific time, but God's Grace has sustained you and brought you back to your family and it looks like basball is still your strength, good for you. I to worry about the head and heart injuries of fast balls. I will keep track of your progress and the progress of usingmetal bats. We like in Colorado and I know tghe young players use metal. Thanks for the new photos.  G looks a lot better than he did on his first walk at MGH, supported by two nurses.
